July 31st, 2019: In 24 hours, we should be on the plane, headed to our first destination: Paris, France. We will have a short layover there before we head to Lome, Togo. My bag is mostly packed. My anxiety is pretty manageable at this point. And my hug quota for the day was surpassed long ago.. Oskar has been handing out a steady supply all day. I think I'm going to miss him! And the rest of the crew here, too.
